Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC requirements continue to challenge credit unions of all sizes. As we have come to learn, examiner expectations vary from institution to institution depending on the level of risk—risks including who you serve and where and how you serve your membership. In this session, the Association will:
    • Reinforce the critical components of compliance
    • Focus on recent guidance and best practices
    • Clarify the issues in the areas of discretion
    • Review the Member Due Diligence requirements
Certified as a CUNA BSA Compliance Specialist, the Association's Bill Nagle will be available for discussion of topics and questions you bring to the session.
Speaker:

William Nagle
SVP, Professional Development
Cooperative Credit Union Association

Bill Nagle has been with the Cooperative Credit Union Association for fourteen years. He now leads the Education and Professional Development department for the Association, managing conferences, seminars and webinars. For 20 years previously, he worked in retail banking for a variety of financial institutions in and around the Boston area, serving as the Retail Branch Administrator for a community savings bank before moving to the credit union movement.

Bill also produces and delivers training programs for Association members at its headquarters, the Credit Union Center, as well as conducts customized, on-site training on a variety of topics important to credit unions today, including compliance and regulations, sales and service, communication, and management and leadership skills.
