Our second speaker, Courtney Collier, Analytics Product Manager, with CU Direct will address CECL. With CECL’s release approaching, credit unions must be ready to transition from an incurred loss to a lifetime expected loss model. The new regulatory guidelines are expected to impact credit union operations, reporting and disclosure. Included in the presentation will be examples using data analytics to fine-tune existing ALLL compliance programs, execute sound lending strategies and strengthen the credit union’s grasp on the status of its portfolio.
